We're so proud of the Spotsylvania County Planning Department for winning the Outstanding Plan Award from the VA Chapter of the American Planning Association.
An early grant from MMG to the Spotsylvania Greenways Initiative, along with technical assistance to identify the best trail routes and marketing expertise, were factors in their success. Congratulations to Wanda Parrish, Planning Director for Spotsylvania County and her team who accepted the award on July 22, 2011.
